Tasting Notes

Made from traditional farming methods with minimal intervention both in the vineyard and cellar. This wine displays rusticity, regionality, power and grace. A whirlwind of dark berries, herbs, stoney minerality and scorched earth. Medium bodied with layers of dark fruit, herbs and meaty flavours supported by nervy acidity and fine firm tannins. A great example of marginal climate fruit from ripe growing season.

Pair with full-flavoured meat dishes; lamb chops, stewed goat or ox-tail.
