Tasting Notes

This certified organic wine takes its name from the Roman goddess of the earth. It is a Sangiovese of rare purity, grown on the best slopes of Paradiso in Montalcino. Aged in barrels for around one year and then matured in bottle for ten months before release.

Intense ruby red with garnet hues.
Aromas of ripe cherry and rose petals, dry leaves and nuts. Balanced and silky on the palate with fine tannins and a long savoury finish. This 100% Montalcino sangiovese demonstrates the virtues of Brunello at half the price. Pair with cured meats, tomato poached fowl and game sausages.
