Tasting Notes

This unoaked Malbec is easy drinking and a versatile food wine. A previous vintage was featured on a WineWire tasting video for World Malbec Day.

Big on the nose with aromas of blackberries and red plums. Sweet, round tannins and spice notes on the palate. Long finish.

Pairing: Serve with anything grilled (steak, game, lamb, etc.), beef stew, empanadas, baked beans, mushrooms, and firm, creamy cheeses like Manchego. Also good with mild-to-medium (not super hot and spicy) chili.
