Tasting Notes

80% Negroamaro, 20% Primitivo.

Ripe red fruit and a hint of cocoa on the nose. Full-bodied and beautifully balanced with flavors of dark cherries accented with spicy and herbal notes.

Food Pairing: Perfect with regional, traditional (southern Italian) dishes such as pasta with meatballs in tomato sauce, ciceri e tria, peperonata, and pizza. Goes well with grilled beef, burgers, sausages, pork tenderloin, lamb and potatoes, etc. Recommended for barbecue chicken pizza, pulled pork sandwiches, teriyaki. Try with smooth, slightly tangy cheeses.
