Tasting Notes

Aromas of ripe dark berries such as blackberries and blackcurrants, paired with notes of prunes and raisins, licorice, cinnamon and spices. These aromas are reflected on the palate. The wine is soft and round, full bodied and well balanced on the palate, with a very pleasing finish.

Food Pairing: Goes well with typical Mediterranean dishes, roasted red meat, barbecue with a tangy sauce (like Asian BBQ), polenta and pasta with tomato sauce, pizza, and aged cheeses. Excellent with lasagna.
