Tasting Notes

ANDREOLA ESTATE is located in the Valdobbiadene wine-growing area of Treviso in Italy. The passion for the vineyards and the wine is the hallmark of this family-owned company founded in 1984 by Nazareno Pola and still follows its production from vineyard to cellar, skillfully combining ancient methods and modern technologies. The family estate consists of 40 hectares of vineyards in Valdobbiadene, most of which is cultivated with Glera with small quantities of varietals native to the region such as Verdiso, Perera and Bianchetta.

Today Stefano Pola goes on in running the business with the same philosophy as his father. An evolution that led Andreola to fully understand the "character" of Prosecco Superiore DOCG, the evolution of the grape, its adaptability to different territory and climatic diversity, while guaranteeing its customers a high quality product.

Dirupo Brut is a highly-rated Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG created from the selection of grapes from the vineyards on the steepest slopes of our estate: here we find the true spirit of “heroic viticulture” working on the most extreme hills to produce a wine which is literally “made by hand”.

Delicate, floral and fruity with an elegant lingering fine perlage. Ideal as an aperitif, excellent with entrees, it goes well with all dishes, including fish. Best served at 10-12 °C.
