"The 2018 Branco is a 70/20 blend of Viosinho and Códega do Larinho, plus 10% Gouveio, unoaked and coming in at 12.5% alcohol. There were 20,000 bottles produced from a blend of Baixo Corgo vines at 700 meters in altitude (the same vineyard as the Gouveio by Joaninha this issue) and Douro Superior vines at 560 meters. This is like a broken record, but this has been very consistent of late. Showing reasonable depth, fine freshness and length on the finish, this is a pleasure to drink, fruity but sophisticated."
