This Mixed Case includes 6 bottles of Tornatore Etna Bianco 2019 and 6 bottles of Tornatore Etna Rosso 2017.

Tornatore winery is one of the top and oldest producers in Etna, dating back to 1865. Their vineyards are located at an altitud of 1,000 meter above sea level on the north side of this active volcano.

About the Etna Bianco 2019...
The Etna Bianco is made with the indigenous grape Carricante, and it is aged in concrete vats.
Light straw yellow with intense green reflections. Pleasant hints of grapefruit, white peach and herbs, mark the nose of this wine which shows its true identity on the palate with a pleasant flavor and freshness complemented by an extraordinary minerality; exclusive notes that invite to the second glass.
It is perfect with young and medium-aged cheeses or poultry and fish. This wine has a beautiful texture, so it will also be beautiful with salads with savoury ingredients such as nuts or bacon.

About the Etna Rosso 2017...
The Etna Rosso is made with the indigenous grape Nerello Mascalese.
​Aromas of red berry, rose, thyme and a whiff of camphor shape the fragrant nose. Sleek and graceful, the lithe, savory palate delivers juicy strawberry, crushed raspberry, Mediterranean herbs and white pepper framed in glossy tannins and fresh acidity. A mineral note evoking smoky flint lingers on the finish.
Etna Rosso is very food friendly and versatile. It can be paired perfectly with a wide variety of dishes. Tomato sauces are a natural pairing for this wine; but it goes awesomely with roasted meats, sausages, meatballs; and oily fish like smokedsardines.
