Tasting Notes

Wine 1: Dominio de Tharsyis CAVA Brut Nature
Bright notes of green apple and tropical guava, passionfruit over sour bread notes. Vibrant palate with zesty raspberry, lime and a creamy mouse that finishes with sea minerality. Intense and refreshing. Ideal with Tapas!

Wine 2: 2018 XION Albarino
Xion is made from hand harvested fruit from selected parcels of vines. The must sees skin contact before the spontaneous fermentation and is followed by fine lees ageing for 3 months in stainless steel vats resulting in impressive extract, depth and structure for this certified organic Abraino.

Wild aromas of sunny yellow plum and fresh apricot with dusty mineral notes. On the palate it's intense and round with racy acidity and a silky texture. Bright citrus and plum hint toward peach and apricot that never seem to pop through it's tight, austere structure. This wine has a wild-organic nature that will appeal to the natural wine enthusiast.

Wine 3: 2018 'El Pedal' Tempranillo
The Hernaiz family owned vineyards in Rioja Alta produce the 'El Pedal' Tempranillo that is fresh and structured showing violets, earthy spice and swathes of blueberry and plum. Bright acidity and fruit make this an ideal Tapas red to be paired with anything from grilled fish to pickled vegetables and beef tartar!
