Tasting Notes

Blend of 60% Sangiovese, 25% Merlot, 10% Syrah and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Tenuta Fanti estate has belonged to the Fanti family since the beginning of the eighteenth century. It extends across 300 hectares in Toscana, 52ha of which are specialized certified sustainable vineyards. This wine is deep and dark and wild, with blackcurrant, anise and black raspberry and peppery spices running the long, elegant, earth-lined palate.

Fermented for 15 days in stainless steel tanks, then matured for 8 months in oak barrels, 50% in barriques of 3 hl and 50% in big oak barrels of 50 hl.
