Location: Certified organic vineyard in the north of Maremma hills (7.5 acres)
Altitude: 200 meters (650 ft)

Soil type: sandy, clay loam
Pruning & trellising to short spurs on permanent cordons and guyot.

Harvested by hand from mid-September onwards.
Fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel vats.
Aged 5 months in French oak barriques (2.25 hl) and 3 months bottle before release.

Tasting note:
Intense brilliant ruby red with aromas of cherry and blueberry fruit, herbs and a flower bouquet. Balanced and pleasant on the palate, easy to drink with a great finish. This wine pairs well with both white and red meat, pasta with ragù sauce and medium flavoured cheese.
