Tasting Notes

Farmed organically, with great care and respect for the land, this wine is made exclusively from 100% estate grown Carignan. 50% of the grapes were grown in marl, gravely marl and shale vineyards of the Minervois and the remaining 50% of the blend come from parcels of fersialitic soil of Saint Chinian. As such, this wine carries the designation of "Vin de France."

80% of the production remains in cement vats, 20% is matured in 3rd year barrels for 5 months. After this time, the wine is blended and bottled 6 months after the harvest.

Tasting notes:
Red berries, black berries, with hints of garrigue. Full bodied and rich, with ripe, and slightly sandy tannins characteristic of this grape variety.

Serve at 15-16C.
