Tasting NotesThis wine is a blend of 70% Montepulciano and 30% Sangiovese, grown in the towns of Offida and Acquaviva Picena, in Ascoli Piceno province at 300m ASL. The wine was aged in large oak barrels for 18 months, and bottled in 2015. This deep ruby red wine with purple tones, should be enjoyed after its third year of ageing. The ageing gives it vivacity, emphasizing amber shades and a velvety smoothness. The nose is filled with dark berries and perfumed floral notes, and the palate is rich, integrated and full- bodied. |
