Tasting NotesA beautiful and classic representation of Sangiovese from Chianti Classico. The wine is dry, full-bodied, with mouthwatering acidity to nicely complement the fine, grippy tannins. Lots of red berry fruits fill the nose and follow through on to the palate; tart red cherries, red currants, and raspberries. The fruit is joined by notes of balsamic, tar, and some sweet baking spices: cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg. There is an orange oil and bergamot note to the wine, to nicely complement the notes of black earl grey tea leaves. Complex yet refined, enjoy this wine at cellar temperature.
