Xion Tinto is produced in very limited quantities; approximately 4, 000 bottles annually.

Taste: A refreshing and well-balanced blend of local grape varieties from Rías Baixas: Pedral, Sousón, Espadeiro. The wine is a deep, iridescent shade of purple; showing ripe notes of raspberry, strawberry, and blackberry. The wine has a distinct cracked black pepper note, with underlying layers of black licorice, crushed violet flower petals, and a saline finish. The wine is dry, medium-bodied, with bright acidity; enjoy slightly chilled!

Cellaring Potential: Ready to enjoy or age 5+ years.

Food Matching: Pan-seared sea bass with roasted red peppers, empanadas, and hearty stews (try the local Galacian favorite: Cocido Gallego).
