Tasting Notes

On the nose: Interesting aromatic complexity reminiscent of ripe plums, dried red fruits, nutmeg and spices, with notes of smokiness and chocolate. On the palate: Soft and velvety tannins, smooth and robust structure. Long and elegant finish.

PAIRING SUGGESTIONS: This is a very complex wine that can be paired with rich meat dishes, French cuisine with rich sauces, and spicy Mediterranean dishes. Also wonderful sipped on its own.

GRAPE VARIETIES: 55% Malbec – 45% Cabernet Sauvignon.

ORIGIN: The Malbec is from a 100-year-old vineyard in Perdriel, 900 meters above sea level. The Cabernet Sauvignon is from La Consulta (similar altitude). Both Mendoza region.

AGING: French oak barrels for 10 months.

ALCOHOL: 14%.
