Tasting Notes

Purple-red colour with a dark centre. Aromas of ripe red fruit, plum, liquorice and spice. Richly full-bodied, with ripe, soft tannins on the palate.

GRAPE VARIETIES: Trincadeira, Aragonêz, and Syrah.

ORIGIN: Alto Alentejo, Portugal.

AGING: Not aged in oak.

ALCOHOL: 14%.

PAIRING: Red meat, lamb chops, empanadas [hand pies with a beef and/or pork filling], and dark chocolate.

SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16-18°C (room temperature or slightly lower).
