Tasting Notes

The tempranillo grapes for the Crianza were selected vineyards on different plots in the Peñafiel and Curiel valley at 750 m. altitude of sandy soil with siliceous stone and Fompedraza with an altitude of 910 m. of earth and limestone. The wine was aged 14 months in French and American oak barrels.

The palate is very subtle, round and unctuous with an excellent balance between acidity and tannicity. Very soft sweet tannins, full of nuances with a pleasant long and persistent finish. The first imprint is that of black fruits and red berries. Memories of scrubland, rosemary, and lavender combined with cinnamon and vanilla.
